Install and update the app

Install fluesta on your Mac or PC — dictation works only in the desktop app, not in the browser.

  • macOS and Windows
  • Active fluesta account (beta access via waitlist)

Download the app

Section titled “Download the app”
  1. Sign in to the web dashboard.
  2. Follow the download link on the home page or onboarding card.
  3. macOS: Open the .dmg and drag fluesta to Applications.
  4. Windows: Follow the Windows SmartScreen guide — the current installer is on that page. Edge or Windows may prompt on the first download; that is expected. If launch fails with MSVCP140_1.dll, see Troubleshooting.

Updates

Section titled “Updates”

fluesta checks for updates on launch (signed builds).

  1. When an update is available, a banner appears on the home screen or under Settings → About.
  2. Download the update and confirm installation — fluesta restarts afterward.
